Great news! Broward County has announced that Four Peas Consulting has been certified as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise [DBE] in Florida. The U.S. Department of Transportation's DBE program provides a vehicle for increasing the participation by Minority Business Enterprises [MBEs] in state and local procurement. This certification enables Four Peas Consulting to compete for and perform, contract work on all USDOT Federal Aid projects in Florida as a DBE contractor, sub-contractor, consultant, sub-consultant or material supplier.

In June, we finally received certification from the Southern Florida Minority Supplier Development Council (SFMSDC). SFMSDC is a regional council and part of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC). The council offers large and small minority owned companies the opportunity to partner with corporations who are seeking minority suppliers. To learn more, about the NMSDC, click here.

The potential value is the ability to create and share documents through groups of friends across email and text. This means that non-Facebook users who communicate via text or via email can be included in a dialogue using Facebook messaging. LeaguePortal.com simplifies administration of recreational and competitive sports leagues. By combining league management and team management functionality into a seamless interface, league managers can manage multiple divisions from a single home screen. For league managers, communicating with coaches/team managers, scheduling games, updating scores and statistics and identifying available referees becomes much easier and less time consuming. Coaches and team managers can communicate directly with the team through a single team page. Individual team members can update each other and the coaches to share team information. PCR Web Design has developed websites for non-profits such as Kasia's Cause as well as for profits such as LeaguePortal.com.

Vaya Mobile and Four Peas Consulting have agreed in principle to a partnership. Through Vaya Mobile, clients can receive strategy, development and execution for mobile marketing initiatives. Given the ubiquity of smartphones along with the popularity of social media marketing, Vaya Mobile is well positioned to deliver mobile marketing messages anytime, anywhere. Vaya Mobile is based in Washington, DC.

Four Peas Consulting has entered into a partnership agreement with Integrity Consulting. Integrity Consulting is a Minneapolis, Minnesota based IT consulting firm offering IT governance, IT service management and interim IT leadership to Fortune 1000 companies. Tim Gibbons, a 20 year IT veteran, leads this 13 year old company.
